Transformer Winding Wire Solutions

Continuously Transposed Conductors (CTC) are used in the windings of large power transformers, which can greatly reduce the load loss, reduce the temperature rise of winding hot spots, improve the mechanical strength of windings, make the structure more compact, and the coil processing more simple. Therefore, Continuously Transposed Conductors(CTC) have been widely used in the winding design and manufacturing of large power transformers since they were invented.

Enameled flat wire is made of oxygen free copper or electrical aluminum rod, which are drawn or extruded by the specification mould.They are mainly used in the windings of electrical equipment such as transformer,reactor and et cetera.

Paper covered wire is mainly used for winding wire of oil immersed transformer.
